Ongoing searches of data and records available on the internet to identify and know risks associated with up 14 different consumer identity elements, such as credit card information.

Credit Card Monitoring:

Planning a Trip for Spring Break?

PLANNING A SPRING BREAK VACATION?

If you plan on using your debit card while traveling and will travel more than 500 miles from home or out of the U.S. then you should notifying our customer service department.   

Important Travel Transaction Notice:  ValueBank Texas actively works to protect your accounts from fraudulent transactions. To aid in the prevention of fraud happening to you, we have taken steps to monitor and possibly block fraudulent transactions.

Our system may block signature­ based transactions outside a 500‐mile radius of your home zip code area.

You should be able to use your debit card as a PIN­ based transaction at ATM’s or merchants with PIN keypads, as these are not affected by the blocking system. This will not block Internet transactions.

Informing us of your upcoming travel plans outside the 500‐mile radius from your home zip code area will allow us to minimize the potential of disrupting/blocking your signature based transactions during your trip.

AGAIN, PLEASE NOTIFY US BY CALLING

Ask for customer service before you travel, if your plans take you outside of a 500‐ mile radius. Let us know where you are going and how long you plan to be there so we can take steps to make sure this blocking does not occur.

If you do encounter a blocked signature based Debit Card transaction when traveling,call ValueBank Texas at 361.888.4451 and ask for customer service. Once we identify you as the account holder, we can release any blocking on your transaction.

SMS Text Banking allows registered users to receive balance and transaction information via text messaging.

Features:  When the customer sends a text/SMS message requesting information, we send a reply text with the requested information within seconds.

How To Access

  • To enroll, simply text “enroll vbt” to 39257 from your mobile device.
  • We’ll call you within one business day to verify information and then activate the service.
  • Then, text any of the commands below to the same number as needed (no login credentials are necessary).
