Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for developing business, sales, and revenue growth for the bank; maintaining profitable account relationships; provide financial services and products to help the bank succeed and expand current clients.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES

  • Reach out to new business customers and develop relationships to expand customer base.
  • Profile new and existing customers to ensure cross-sell of deposits, credit, and personal banking products; helping the customer make informed choices
  • Identify consumer product opportunities among business owners to enhance loan portfolio.  Analyze the client’s financial condition and recommend alternative or additional financial services to best meet the client’s immediate and long-term business and personal needs. 
  • Identify opportunities to refer larger lending needs to Commercial Lenders
  • Communicate with Retail Banking Managers, Customer Service Managers, and Lenders to increase comfort and improve the relationship with customers and prospects.
  • Drive the Bank’s P&L growth by working with existing customers to ensure cross-sell and capture of entire relationship, improving customer retention and increasing the bank’s revenue growth.
  • Be the face of the bank in small business community and assume an appropriate leadership role.
  • Responsible for being up to date and fully understanding the entire spectrum of the bank products and services including latest interest rates, projected trends, and any changes in banking regulations.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Prefer Bachelor’s  in Business Administration
    Professional or Commercial banking experience
    3-5 years of proven consultative outside sales experience in financial services, business to business sales or small business banking
    Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships and meeting or exceeding sales goals
    Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and cash flow analysis
    Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading and negotiating with team of bank associates to solve client issues.
