Instructions on “Forgot Password”
- In Online Banking – Type in User ID and click enter
- Answer the initial Security Question (if you are on a public computer)
- On password login page: Important: Scroll to Bottom of Screen
- Click on “Forgot Your Password”
- You will see a message stating, “Your password reset is being processed and a communication will be distributed to the email we have on file for you. The temporary password will only be valid for 15 minutes.
- The temporary password can be copied and pasted directly from the email or manually entered using ALL CAPS with no spaces and no dashes.
- Note: If you do not receive an email within 10 minutes, you have answered the security questions incorrectly, you have one more attempt.
- You will see a message stating, “Your password reset is being processed and a communication will be distributed to the email we have on file for you. The temporary password will only be valid for 15 minutes.
- Answer the Security Questions
- Once you login with the temporary password you will be instructed to enter a new password and reset your security questions. Note: The security question answers must be at least 6 characters.
- If you continue to have issues please contact customer service at 361.888.4451 option 3: M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Instructions on “Forgot User ID”
- For security purposes: User IDs CANNOT be reset.
- You must contact customer service at (361) 888.4451 option 3 to reset User ID.
Important note: If you are asked an unknown security question, you may have entered your User ID incorrectly. Please go back and reenter your User ID. If you continue to receive the wrong security question, contact customer service to have your User ID reset.
